Dr. Adriana Padovan, dr. Vesna Skorupan Wolff and dr. Božena Bulum visited Porto San Vito and Darsena San Marco in Grado (Italy) as a part of the field research conducted within the DELICROMAR project. During their visits which took place from 24th until 26th May 2018, they interviewed Dott. Gennaro Coretti, the owner of Darsena San Marco, and Mr. Andrea Bigot, the manager of Porto San Vito. This was an opportunity to discuss the common business practices of marinas in Italy and the legal challenges related to marina industry in Italy. In particular, the marina operator's liability under the common general terms and conditions of these marinas was analysed. Moreover, the project team members had an opportunity to meet the representatives of the Croatian, Slovenian and Italian Maritime Law Associations who participated in the III Adriatic Maritime Law Conference held in Grado during these dates. The legislative developments regarding the nautical tourism and recreational boating in the three Adriatic countries were discussed and the future activities of the AMLC working group on nautical tourism coordinated by dr. Padovan were planned.
