DELICROMAR project has now been officially completed and evaluated by the Croatian Science Foundation. The project received the highest marks of the peer-reviewers and the Croatian Science Foundation. In particular, it has been noted that the research results were published in the highly esteemed internationally aknowledged journals and publications relevant for the topic of research and maritime law. The project team established important collaborations with the private sector stakeholders and public authorities and institutions in Croatia and abroad. Complex field research was undertaken in Croatian marinas, harbour master offices and port authorities. The evalualtors also stated that added value of the project is reflected in the fact that research sources have been colllected and organised and will therefore be available for further research. Furthermore, especially valuable contribution is the analysis and discussion of the relevant legal concepts and issues based on which de lege ferenda proposals were created and submitted to the lawmakers. This particularly relates to the latest Amendments to the Maritime Code Act of 2019 and the ongoing work on the revision of the Maritime Domain and Seaports Act.
