The book titled The New Legal Regime for Marinas, published by the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts as Book 47 of the book series Modernisation of Law, was formally launched at the Croatian Chamber of Economy on June 11th 2019. The book contains a collection of papers presented at the final conference of the DELICROMAR project and it also includes the proposed standard general terms and conditions of marina operator berthing contracts and of marina operator liability insurance that have resulted as a part of the research project.
After the welcome adress delivered by Professor Dragan Kovačević, the Vice-president of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, the book was presented by Professor Jasenko Marin of the Faculty of Law in Zagreb who was also one of the peer-reviewers of the monograph. Dr Adriana Padovan spoke of the research project DELICROMAR that the book resulted from and Professor Jakša Barbić, the main editor of the book elaborated on the possibilities of further cooperation between the Croatian Chamber of Economy and the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts on such projects and topical legal matters related to nautical tourism.
